Description
An otoscope, also known as an auriscope, is a medical device used by healthcare professionals to examine the ear canal and eardrum. It typically consists of a handle and a head with a light source and a magnifying lens, usually around 3× magnification. The distal end of the otoscope has an attachment for disposable plastic ear specula.
